Caboolture Men’s Shed
A place for blokes to hang out, build stuff, learn how to use tools, show other blokes how to do stuff, have fun and find new mates
Men’s Shed
Making an Impact Across the Caboolture Region
What started as a neighbourhood post-Christmas Party has developed into the Caboolture Men’s Shed.
A need was identified to build neighbourhood connections and provide a social outlet for many of the recently retired men in the area.
What Is A Men’s Shed?
Men’s Sheds (or Sheds) are similar to garden sheds – a place to pursue practical interests at leisure, to practice skills and enjoy making and mending. The difference is that garden sheds and their activities are often solitary in nature while Men’s Sheds are the opposite. They’re about social connections and friendship building, sharing skills and knowledge, and of course a lot of laughter.
